I'm a self-taught pastel artist and instructor, raised and based in Birmingham, Alabama. I constantly collect stories and pieces of the modern South, turning them into works of art. I love to share what I've learned and build connections and community between artists and art-lovers. I invite you to browse and join my site. I hope you find something that inspires you!

I only use high quality soft pastels on archival surfaces, most often Sennelier Soft Pastels, Ampersand Pasetlbord, or Sennelier La Carte Pastel card. Pieces are finished with a matte spray to reduce the risk of smearing. Allow 2-4 weeks for commissions, once work begins. Commissions can be painted from photographs provided by the client.
