Portraits

Pastels

Full color, these portraits can be either polished and formal, or more relaxed and playful. The smoothness of skin, the subtle shadows of the eye, and the rosiness of a child’s cheek come to beautiful fruition in these true-to-life paintings. Finished pieces are sprayed with a transparent fixative to greatly reduce smearing, and when framed behind glass, pastel portraits will last for generations. See prices and sizes below.

Watercolor

Using high quality, archival watercolors on either canvas or thick watercolor paper, these pieces are rich with color and texture. Finished pieces should be framed behind glass. See below for prices and details.

Colored Pencil

Great for a smaller piece with a more casual feel, colored pencil portraits are done using high quality woodless colored pencil sticks in the same technique as pastels.

Graphite & Charcoal

Created with a variety of high quality graphite and charcoal pencils and sticks, these portraits capture a moment with accuracy and grace. The linear texture given by the artist’s hand accentuates the contrast in shadows, resulting in a beautiful piece that will last. These pieces may be drawn on white or sepia papers. See prices and details below.

Using archival, permanent ink pens, portraits take on a more “doodled,” informal style. Great for smaller pieces! See prices and details below.
